The natural flow-on from big wave Sunset guns, were the pintail wingers. Specialising in tube-riding and handling tight situations at high speed based on design where the nose vee blends into a flat entry area and through to concave/double concaves in what is perhaps the most typical of TF’s bottom creations. The first boards featured single wings which evolved into double wingers with flutes, giving these boards the ability to deal with long and short arcs and still be able to run high and long.
The Pin Wings came into their own running high under the lip at Honoloua Bay, Maui and Jeffreys Bay, South Africa. The Classic Wing Pin was developed at the peak of TF’s surfing career in the mid-70’s
Wings: single or double option.

Handsprayed air brushing by Martyn Worthington since 1972. Martyn’s talents are often described as "psychedelic" but always remain true to their surf/art roots. Select either:
FADE: Top and Bottom of the board with colours fading from the rail to centres, glossed and polished to accentuate colour.
MURALS: Airbrushed on the bottom of the board with faded rails and deck, glossed and polished to accentuate colour. Martyn prefers to incorporate individual designs into his artwork so feel free to email your design themes for Martyn’s interpretation & choice of rail and deck colours.
Refer to spray examples.
