RAINBOW // Wing Pin
Price guide from $1540 (graphics) $2365 (murals)
The natural flow-on from big Sunset guns, were the pintail wingers. Specialising in tube-riding and handling tight situations at high speed. The nose vee blends into a flat entry area and through to concave/double concaves in what is perhaps the most typical of TF's designs. The first boards had single wings which evolved into double wingers with flutes, giving the boards the ability to deal with long and short turns and still be able to run high and long.
The Pin Wings came into their own when put under the lip at Honoloua Bay Maui and Jeffreys Bay South Africa. The Classic Wing Pin was developed at the peak of TF's surfing career in the mid-70's
Wings: single or double option.
