The benchmark performance surfboard derived from early work on wing pins and swallows in Hawaii and at Narrabeen. The DWSW developed into the ‘all-rounder’ that no HB rider dared leave home without. Developed for skating over fat / flat spots by increasing planing area under the backfoot with a second wing added to the round swallow single wing.
Winning the Australian Titles in 1975 underlined the credentials of the wing series which TF later slotted into barrels from Burleigh to Uluwatu (winning at the Om-Bali Pro in1980) and Oahu.
The ‘modern’ version grooved for KF’s at Jeffreys / Cape St. Francis, with front foot concave speed and classic back foot “spiral” vee power carves.

MURALS - Rainbow Original handshapes have been handsprayed with murals by artist Martyn Worthington since 1972. Martyn's airbrushing talents are often described as "psychedelic" but always remain true to their surf/art roots. Murals are airbrushed on the bottom of the board with a Fade finish to the deck, glossed and polished to accentuate colour. Martyn prefers to incorporate individual designs into his artwork so feel free to email your design themes & choice of Fade colours (top and bottom)
